Our representative will pick you up from Sharm Marina by a private 4×4 jeep driving towards the north about 170 km on paved road & 7 km on the desert. Arrive at Nuweiba to take some photos of the splendid panorama of its port & the bedouin tribes, also participants can witness the mountain of Saudi Arabia on the other side of Aqaba Gulf.

Arrive to canyon location then start to go down to the canyon to witness the wonderful natural colors of the rocks back to the main road to an oasis. The colored canyon is awe-inspiring beauty and one of the most magnificent rock formations in the world. It is almost 800m long. The road to the canyon is well paved. Then by some date palms , it turns onto a gravel road for 15 minutes. once you reach the summit and start descending , you will notice that many of the rocks are covered in a chalk-like powder caused by being worn down.

After 20 minutes , It feels like walking through a dry riverbed and looking around above you at some points, the walls reach some 20 stories in height. It is fairly an easy hike except for one obstacle. At some point , you have to slide down through a vent , where maybe thousands of years ago, a fallen boulder had blocked the way, leaving a narrow opening underneath.

The vegetation that you see throughout the drive and the hike is very limited. We will see some acacia, green capparis sinaica , tamarisk trees , willow trees , desert pumpkin and sodom apples (which are poisonous). Back to Sharm El Sheikh Marina.
